The short version: licorice in Poland works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice squonk mod really costs in Poland
We run licorice the same way in Poland: same squonk mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested licorice in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Poland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Poland.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised zł40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run zł2.41 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Poland stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for licorice in Poland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within zł2.41 per 10 ml once 3–6 business days is counted.
How long does licorice in a squonk mod last?
In Poland we measured 7 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
